Last week, I went on my first field trip of the year to MoMA. I normally don't go on many field trips due to the minimum funding that my school receives for extracurricular activities. The Pixar exhibit at MoMA was absolutely fantastic, many of the pieces of production artwork showcased in the exhibit could be seen on the DVDs of their respective movie but there's something to be said about seeing the things in person. Being able to see the maquettes and take your own look at them from different angles was worth the price of admission alone. Too bad the exhibit is going away in a week or so, I'd recommend seeing the exhibit to absolutely anyo

Midterms :(

It seems that I won't get much time to spend on deviantART next week due to the midterm examinations and having full day schedule due to the fact that my Principal and Super-intendent enjoy abusing their power. Hopefully, the teachers will have a heart and actually go lightly on us during class, from what I heard the teachers were just as rankled by the full-day midterm schedule as the students. Luckily for me, my hardest midterm (AP US History) will come as the last one on Friday while all the tests for my other classes are still dreadful but not half as dreadful as that one. Today I went out to New York City with my family and a friend of mine to go see Avenue Q and do some touristing afterwards and buy some cool stuff too. While the driving was next to impossible in Times Square even during the day and it would have probably been a better idea to take the train over, it was quite a strollful trip through New York during the daytime and I saw the infamous PSP graffiti that's been plaguing the streets and boiling the blood of fanboys nationwide.
